
The reconstituted vaccine product contains an avirulent live culture of Haemophilus parasuis.
Indications
For the vaccination of healthy swine 3 weeks of age and older as an aid in the prevention of Glasser’s Disease in swine caused by Haemophilus parasuis.
Mixing Directions
Aseptically rehydrate freeze-dried vial of ParaSail with part of the accompanying bottle of diluent (see insert for complete directions). Mix reconstituted vial well and transfer rehydrated vaccine into diluent bottle. Shake diluent bottle well. Peel identification tab from label on freeze-dried vial and place on diluent bottle containing all vaccine.
Dosage Directions
Inject 1.0 mL intramuscularly (I.M.)
Cautions
Antibiotic therapy should be discontinued 72 hours before until 24 hours after administration of this vaccine. Store refrigerated at 35º – 45º F (2º – 7ºC). Do not freeze. Use immediately after reconstitution; do not save partial contents.Burn the container and all unused contents Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Transient reaction may occur at injection site. If anaphylaxis occurs use epinephrine or equivalent. Contains Streptomycin and Amphotericin B as preservatives.
For Use In Swine Only

Step 1: Use a sterile syringe and needle to extract at least 10 mL of the sterile diluent from the plastic bottle.
Step 2: Insert the needle into the glass vial and inject the diluent into the vial to dissolve the wafer.
Step 3: Gently shake the glass vial and syringe until the wafer is completely dissolved.
Step 4: Use the sterile syringe to extract all of the mixture from the glass vial.
Step 5: Asceptically insert the needle into the plastic diluent bottle and add the mixture to the plastic bottle.
Step 6: Remove the needle and shake well to completely mix the diluent and the rehydrated vaccine.
Step 7: Peel identification tab from label on freeze-dried vial and place on diluent bottle containing all vaccine.
